DuBose, bn c.1857 nr Grand Cane, DeSoto Parish, LA, dau of Andrew J. DuBose (see his bio DeSoto GenWeb), married (1) J. Curtis Williams (23 July 1854 - 13 Oct 1878), son of James M. Williams (1818 - 1893)and 3rd wife, Frances J. Ridgeway. In 1880, Martha was living with her parents and her twin sons. Martha may have married (2) James E. Sample (9 June 1846 - 12 July 1904), son of James H. Sample b.c 1809. Can anyone confirm that marriage? When did Martha die? Was she survived by any children? Martha's father was a brother of my g-g-grandfather, Isaac Newton DuBose,who married Mary N. Williams, dau of James M. Williams, in 1860. Any help will be appreciated.
