I just recently found out that my grandfather, Charles Lee Harper,was born in De Soto Parish in Sept. of 1845. My great grandfather was born there about 1816. My great grandmother, maiden name Baines, was born there about 1823. I am looking for any kind of information of theses two families. If you could help me out, it would be much appreciated.
