It appears that he was born 1820-1830 and married Arcene Rambin (Listed page or entry 331 in 1850 deSoto parish census)December 24, 1850. They had three chidren, one of whom was my ggrandmother, Mahala Frances Phillips, who later married a Mr Hugh Bickham from Ohio. Any leads or information on Mr. Phillips, Mr. Bickham, Miss Rambin, or anyone else in this family will be much appreciated.
