They are: Josephine Roblow Jordan born 30 Dec 1897, died 1 Apr 1964, Robert Eugene Jordan, born 18 Aug 1917, died 5 Oct 1917, Robert Harold Jordan, born 29 Aug 1890, died 7 Apr 1962. Robert Eugene was the son of Josephine & Robert Harold. The Carmel Cemetery will be posted on the internet shortly after Christmas.

It appears that you have a lot of new members so I would like to try again to locate the buriel place of Dr Samuel Alexander Mims, who died on 1 Jan 1864 in Logansport, LA, his property was located where Mims Springs Baptist Church is now located. I am also trying to find out what happended to his son Samuel Evander Roderic Mims (Called Roddy) who remained in DeSoto Parish after his step mother returned to South Carolina around 1868. Hope someone can help me determine Who my Sarah Ann Pyle’s parents were??? Sarah Ann Pyle /Pyles, m. 1849-50 in AL or GA, Thomas H White, Don’t know Where in TN, AL, GA or in AR. They landed in Van Zandt Co.,TX, in 1870. 1870 Census; Wills Point,Van Zandt Co., TX, Page 28, # 201-28 White, Thomas age 46, b.1824/25 in TN, S. A. age 35, b.1830/35 in GA Elizabeth age 20, b.1850 in GA (have great deal of family info) Margaret age 17, b.1853 in GA/AL (My GGrandmother) Peter age 14, b.1856 in GA (no additional information) Sarah L. age 11, b.1859 in AR (no additional information) Thos. A age 9, b.1861 in TX (no additional information) Louis H. age 5, b.1865 in TX (have little family info) James age 1, b.1869 in TX (no additional information) In 1873 there was one more son, Reasonably sure his mother was also Sarah Ann Pyle. A deed executed 14 Dec 1859 recorded the transfer of property from W.F. Parsons to Emeline Parsons "wife of E.H. Greening". Was this the same W.F. Parsons who marr 1865 DeSoto Elizabeth Barfield? Were W.F. & Emeline both children of Harrison Parsons who d. DeSoto Par. in the 1850's? Emeline's husband was Eldridge H. Greening. She was widowed when he died 1863 while serving w/ 19th LA Inf. in TN. There's no record of their marriage in DeSoto Parish, but they were living there in 1860. Both of his parents were dec'd. by 1854, and cousin Samuel E. Guy of DeSoto Par. was gdn of Eldridge & his surviving brothers Franklin & Gus (Cornelius Augustus). Final disposition of Eldridge H. Greening's property was in 1888, but there is no mention of Emeline or daughter Alabama. Any help appreciated. I believe Mary was her sister. She is listed on the 1850 De Soto Censusliving next to a Mary, and by 1860 is in Leon County Texas, as Mary McDaniel. Roseline is there also, with her children (my ggg grandfather). Roseline's son Peter married augusta Faust, and there is a F williams in their household.
