From: December 19, 1952 Winnfield News-American Funeral Services For C. F. McAnally Held Here Tuesday Former Local Resident Dies In Shreveport Sunday Afternoon Funeral services for Claude F. McAnally, 56, who died in a Shreveport hospital Sunday afternoon were held there in the Rose-Neath chapel Tuesday morning and concluded with graveside rites here the same afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Services were conducted by Dr. Rassie Littleson, pastor of Bay Street Presbyterian Church, Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The deceased resided here with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. C. F. McAnally, moving here with them from Tennessee when a small boy. For the past fifteen years or more he has made his home in Shreveport. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Patsy Barton McAnally, one son, Fred Barton McAnally, and four sisters, Mrs. Edith Patrick, McGee, Ark., Mrs. Madge Polley, and Mrs. Wally Weil, both of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mrs. Parker Thompson, Winnfield. Active pallbearers were E. G. McCalla, J. D. Calk, C. A. Rodgers, D. O. Burton, W. M. Green, and K. E. Jones.
