From: October 20, 1949 Winn Parish Enterprise Mrs. J. J. Lee Dies In Edward, Miss. Mrs. J. J. Lee, a resident of the Dodson Community for 25 years, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Hattie Bankston, in Jackson, Miss., Friday, Oct. 14, after a long illness. She had made her home with her sister for the past four years. Funeral services were conducted Saturday with interment in the family plot in Edward, Miss. Mrs. Lee was well known in Winn Parish, having taught in the Gaars Mill High School a number of years. She was a member of the Harmony Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, J. J. Lee, of Winnfield; two sisters, of Jackson, Miss.; and two brothers of Natchez, Miss.
