From: December 2, 1954 Winn Parish Enterprise Last Rites Held For Leonard Smith In Mt. Zion Leonard A. Smith suffered a heart attack at his home in Atlanta Tuesday night, November 23, about six o'clock. Mr. Smith was 72 years of age and had lived in and around Atlanta for a number of years. Funeral services were conducted at his home Thursday at two thirty o'clock with Rev. Otis Knapp and Rev. W. O. Durham officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Montgomery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Etta Carter Smith, a daughter, Mrs. Lovey Smith of Solem, Missouri, one son, Plezzie Smith, Rock Spring, Missouri, a sister, of Solem, Missouri, and one brother, of California.
