From: December 2, 1954 Winn Parish Enterprise Last Rites Held Nov. 28 For Orvin Kenneth Moffett Funeral services for Orvin Kenneth Moffett, 31, of Winnfield, were held Sunday afternoon in Gansville Baptist Church near Dodson, with the Rev. Lum Ellis and the Rev. Waynon Mott officiating. Burial was held in Gansville Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Moffett, a lifetime resident of Winn Parish, died Friday in a local hospital after a long illness. He was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. O. M. Moffett, Winnfield; one brother, Nathan Moffett with the U. S. Navy in Japan; seven sisters, Pvt. Linda Moffett with the Women's Marine Corps, Norfolk, Va.; Mrs. Louise LeMay and Mrs. Peggy LeMay, both of Duluth, Minn.; Mrs. Agnes Coburn, Ferriday; Mrs. Mary Ray, Arcadia; Miss Nancy Moffett, Winnfield; Sally Lyle, Atlanta, Texas. --------------CB85142FDBBB9F58FAB8FB53--
