From: October 31, 1952 Winnfield News-American Helen Spillers, 21, Dies In Chicago, Rites Held Oct. 22 Helen Spillers, 21, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Spillers and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Spillers of Atlanta, died suddenly in a Chicago hospital Friday, October 17, 1952. Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion at 3 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Earnest Walker, pastor of the Atlanta Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. L. B. Williams. A graduate of the Atlanta High School, the deceased also had attended school in Chicago and had been employed there and in Houston, Texas. She is survived by her parents; a sister, Mrs. Beverley Phipps of Houston; two brothers, Allen Spillers of Baytown, Texas and Billy Spillers of Atlanta; a sister, Rita Spillers of Atlanta, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.
