From: October 31, 1952 Winnfield News-American Leonard Freeman Rites Conducted At Sardis Church Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday for Leonard Morris Freeman, 73, who died in a local hospital Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1952. Rites were conducted at the Sardis Baptist Church by the Rev. E. B. Barton, assisted by the Rev. Gerald Miller, and interment was in the Sardis Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Freeman resided with his daughter, Mrs. Roy Keyes, in the Sardis Community. Survivors also include two other daughters, Mrs. Virgil McQuillin of Crowville and Mrs. John Fletcher of Vicksburg, Miss.; a son, Orie L. Freeman of Crossett, Ark., and a brother, Arthur Freeman of Castor. Pallbearers were Ivy, Josh, and Eugene Keyes, Frank Barton and Roy Ray. --------------7E34B80E8CD0FB7FB921E86B--
