Blackstone W. Bailey, b. 10-1-1849, (probably Talbot or Harris Co., GA) d. 8-19-1901 in San Saba County, TX, while living next to Allen Kilgore Bailey born 1849 or 1850 in Talbot or Harris Co. I surmise these 2 men were cousins or even possibly brothers. Allen moved to Claiborne Parish, LA with his parents about 1858, before he was 9 years old. Since these two men are neighbors in 1900-01, there must be a close connection. Blackstone as a first name suggests respect for the legal profession, not magicians in this context.
