I'm finally getting around to organizing all of my research and I found something I meant to post in July. Someone on the Claiborne List was asking questions about the name Monzingo. While I was in Homer at the County Clerk's Office this past July, I ran across a deed for Monzingo. It was in the book titled "Index to old original deeds K-Z" listed as #399 the deed was from Angusta L. Long to Monzingo.
