I am looking for information on William Hood in Claiborne Parish. On 1870 census, He was 60, and was married to Mrs. Jane M. Wilson, 41. He married her Aug. 3, 1866 in Homer. They had three children, William Samuel, b. 1867, James Edgar, b. 1868, and Catharine, b. 1869. He had five children by a previous marriage, Martha J., 27, Sarah A., 18, Nancy Ann, 14, William, 12, Randle R., 9, and Francis E., 7. She had four children by her previous marriage, George W., 16, Frances M., 15, Mary J., 13, and Susan W., 11. He was alive and on the 1880 census, but I have a dead end there, and before his marriage to Jane in 1866.
