Looking for info on N. W. Peters family that lived in Claiborne Parish at least during the years of 1860-1892. His wife Elizabeth Epps Peters died February 19, 1892 and is buried in Friendship Cemetery south of Haynesville. In July, 1892 N.W. Peters married Mrs. Jane Liveritt. Trying fine where he died. Also searching for Franklin Short family that lived in Claiborne parish at least in the mid 1800's as they are listed in the 1850 census. He had land patents for several parcels in the Parish. The family moved to Grayson County, Texas by 1870. There was a Josias Short that received a land patent on October 13, 1898 in the Parish. Any help or direction for these families would be most appreciated.
