I was wondering if there is a cemetery book for Claiborne Parish. I am looking for a grave for Thomas C. Frost and a child by the name of Elehtia Jane Frost. Also is there a grave for Hilliard J. Frost. Thank you for any help you can give me. Judy

Unfortunately, I could not find one single Frost name in either of the 4 Cemetery books for Claiborne Parish. I don't think so, the probate records are all at the Claiborne parish clerks office. Maybe they were buried on their land. When Thomas died in 1854 he left no will, I received the papers of succession yesterday and the widow sold the land and property for some reason, she was the guardian for their 4 minor children. I know nothing about Louisiana law in these case. The papers had a family meeting held and that was what was decided. Hilliard/Hillyard died in 1862 and his wife moved to AR.
