I guess I missed the original posts about Monzingos, but the Monzingo family has been in Claiborne parish since early times. The following Monzingos were part of the Minden Rangers in the Civil War: Monzingo, G. W.; Monzingo, S. A.; M0nzingo, J. J.;Monzingo, Giles; Monzingo, Lewis; Monzingo, White; Monzingo, Thomas; Monzingo, Abe (This information on page 89 of the History of Claiborne parish by Harris and Hulse) Most of the Monzingos I know lived in Haynesville in Claiborne parish.
