Minden is not in Claiborne Parish, but is in Webster Parish. I can remember as a child the name Monzingo was used by My Grandmother and Aunts. I know there were some Monzingo's in Webster Parish, but I don't know anything about them. Thought if you put a query in Webster Parish you many get lucky. My Grandparents were natives of that Parish and are buried in Germantown Cemetery. Many of my relatives are buried there. My Grandfather Krouse's sister married George W. Alexander. They lived on the Homer/Minden Road just over the Webster Parish line and in Claiborne Parish. I do not think they are the person you are searching for, but not certain since I have done little research on the Alexander family. Sorry I couldn't help you more. Clarice
If I remember correctly, there was a Mr. Monzingo who was a bus driver for the school. Now mind you I graduated in 1964 and my memory is not to hot anymore. Nola
Webster Parish and Germantown was at one time part of Claiborne Parish. There are still Monzingos in Claiborne Parish.
