My ggrandfather Dobbins had a son with middle name Aswell. His wife was daughter of B.W. Wilson in area now in Lincoln Parish. This area is very close to present Bienville parish line. The parish lines have changed several times in the past 150 years. Try Lincoln/Union Parish near Vienna. Also in the Woodville community in Jackson Parish for 1860. My Dobbins family has no other connection to the Aswell family that I have found. Good luck.
