O. Box 17706, Shreveport, LA 71138-0706 and may perhaps be found in your local library. Inscriptions of "new" Whithall cemetery are in VOL IV. I haven't been by those cemeteries in several years but doubt the old cemetery is visible from hiway and likely will be difficult to find. In 1986 inscriptions as follow were found in the old cemetery. DYKE, Andrew J. 17 Apr 1825 18 Feb 1869 (My husband's grave age 43 years 10 mos 1 day) DYKE, Drucilla E. 25 Mar 1830 06 Jun 1887 (wife of A. J. Dyke) BURTON, Lacy C. There also seems to be other graves marked with rocks and brick, however the cemetery is overgrown in brush and weeds and these markers hard to locate.) WROTEN, William Edgar WROTEN, Frank Albert
