Hi, I'm new to this list and just started researching my daughter-in-law's lines. Through the social security records I've learned her paternal grandfather, Brodie TANNER, was born Jan. 4, 1893 Summerfield, La and his parents were William Franklin TANNER and Mattie MITCHAM. In 1938, when Brodie filed this information, he was living on Rt 2 Box 160, Haynesville, La. He says his father is living and his mother is dead. Brodie and Pearl ENGLISH had a son, Brodie Jr., born Jan 1928 in Ruston, Lincoln Parish, La. Brodie Jr. never knew his father. I can only assume that Brodie Sr. and Pearl were married. I've not been able to locate information on Pearl. Any help is appreciated. Lona lona@pdq.net
