    2. Jerry Linney
    3. I have some extra copies of a wonderful book titled "What won't be in my Will" the books were purchased directly from the author for a marketing program that was never introduced, and now I need to find a home for them. The book is laid out in a format to obtain the thoughts, dreams and stories that many times are not passed from one generation to the next. It's a great way for your family members and loved ones to leave behind their most cherished thought and moments. I am happy to give these books for free, just send me your address and tell me how many you want. I prefer to keep the quantities requested by each person under 10 so that many people can order them. However, if you have a special need and would like more, just let me know. By the way, this is not an offer from a company and your address information will not be provided to anyone. I just have the books in my garage and after I send the books I will delete your address. Thanks, Jerry Linney San Diego, CA Researching Kerlin, Mat(t)hews, Kirkland, Killgore and Cook in LA

    2. I guess I missed the original posts about Monzingos, but the Monzingo family has been in Claiborne parish since early times. The following Monzingos were part of the Minden Rangers in the Civil War: Monzingo, G. W.; Monzingo, S. A.; M0nzingo, J. J.;Monzingo, Giles; Monzingo, Lewis; Monzingo, White; Monzingo, Thomas; Monzingo, Abe (This information on page 89 of the History of Claiborne parish by Harris and Hulse) Most of the Monzingos I know lived in Haynesville in Claiborne parish. Jimmy Monzingo still lives in Homer, LA. Barbara Smith

    1. [LACLAIBO] Re: BARROW FAMILY LOUISIANA-HELP
    2. Jennifer I can't believe I have done so much research on the Barrow family in and around Homer, Claiborne Parish, La. and never have run on Edward Palmer Barrow. My husband's Grandmother was Exar Barrow Seals. Her father was Josephus Barrow who was a Primitive Baptist Preacher in that area. In my research there were three Barrow families, Josephus Samuel, His Uncle Josiah Barrow, and his Grandfather William Barrow came to Claiborne Parish between the 1850's. They are all buried in the Barrow Cemetery, Claiborne Parish, La. In searching for Edward Palmer, I don't find anyone on my large list by that name. The date 1922 means he is only slightly older than my husband. His being born in Haynesville doesn't ring a bell either. I will try to check a little closer, but right now, I can't think of who he may be. You may wish to contact the Barrow Family Association of America, as they have been very helpful to me. Contact me, and I will be happy to send you a couple of e-mail addresses for members of the Association. I do not wish to post these e-mails on this page as I do not know if they would appreciate it. Also this Association at one time, had a web-site. I don't know if they still have it or not. Clarice Seals

    2. This is mainly aimed to the lady who stated her ancestors were circus folk. The following site is genealogy related. circusfolk.freeservers.com We are getting better at the exotic research for our ancestors every day. Now, if only there was a 1920's wrestlers genealogy site, then I'd really be a happy camper. Perhaps spotlighting San Francisco Wrestlers from Hungary or Romania, owning and operating a tailor shop and lived on Bush Street. Guess that would be TOO much to ask for !!!!! LOL, with tongue in cheek and hope in my heart, I carry on, Ley
