    3. Thank you so much Kelly for all of the Census on the Claiborne Parish page, has helped relieve all of the sadness this week by looking at evey page of the 1860 Census, looking for Jefferson W. Cook and think I found him and maybe some of my Goodson Family that were there duing that time frame. The Census is very easy to navigate and read, making it easy to get through all of the pages very quickly. Thanks again so very much. 3. Janet did you scroll down and click on Parish History in the menu? That will take you to the transcribed book. There are more than one file of them. The first file deals with the early beginnings of La and on down to Claiborne Parish . A great many names are found listed among the History of Claiborne Parish. Try again you might have to read a bit but if you find a nugget it is worth it all. <http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/la/claiborne/parish.htm> Good Luck .
