    2. I couldn't help but notice the surname "Lackey" mentioned in this posting. One of my family names is "Lockey" and they are primarily in the Webster/Claiborne/Bossier/Caddo Parishes of Louisiana, though they came from NC thru GA and AL just after the Civil War and settled in primarily the area of Rocky Mount. Just wondered if your Lackey could possibly be a misspelling, or whatever, of my Lockey!!!! Brenda Wilkins Hudson

His grandparents on his mother's side are buried in Natchitoches Parish, St John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery,and he had one sister that died and is buried there. Her name was Thelma Bennett and she was born 4 Oct. 1913 and died 9 Feb.1945. This was a large family.
