The actual census images are online in the Calcasieu LaGenWeb Archives. That url is http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/la/calcasie.htm Click on Census and go to the link to the images. click on Index to the 1860 census images and you can do a search and find to locate all Gills. When you find the one you are looking for note the # of the image and then go to the images and see if for yourself. Ain't this grand? Happy hunting.
