Emile's brother was Alphonse Amadee who moved his family to Orange Co., Texas by 1900. Amadee was my great-grandfather. He was shot in the head by a neighbor in 1903 and finally died in 1904 in Gossport, Louisiana in the house of his son, Nicholas.
