Hello all This is to remind you of our society meeting on Saturday, March 17th at 10 am at the Carnegie Meeting Room of the SW LA Genealogical Library 411 Pujo St. here in Lake Charles. Coffee and fellowship begin at 9:30. Program will be presented by Robert Benoit and the topic will be "Early History of Imperial Calcasieu Parish". The Society will sponsor a bus trip to Clayton Library in Houston, TX. Date: Tuesday, June 5. 2001. Depart 6 AM, do research, have dinner and return by 11 PM.
