Have you tried contacting the adoption records by the state. I have an oh, my great aunt adopted a child and and my aunt died but the child is now 40 years old and she went to the place that put her in the home of the adoped parents. Also call the courthouse in Lake Charles and they would be able to help you or the Civil Office of Sheriff's department and they could point you in the correct direction. Also if you know abouts where you were born and have a copy of the birth certificate that might help also. Sincerely, rebecca
