    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: BRODERICK - HEALY Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YCB.2ACI/550 Message Board Post: I am looking for descendents of Catherine Healy Broderick who died in Lake Charles and is buried in Graceland - Orange Grove Cemetery. We have correspondence indicating that Catherine (or members of her family) lived at 829 Bilbo St. in Lake Charles around 1924. Catherine originally came to New Orleans with her sisters and brother (and her parents) before the Civil War. Her brother Michael A. Healy (1837-1918) lived in Brenham, Texas and she had a sister named Hannah Healy McMahon who died in Wisconsin in 1924. She had another sister named Mary Healy who married a man named Martin McMahon and they lived in Algiers, La. She had another sister named Elizabeth A. Healy who married George Crosson and they ranched near Marfa, Texas. There was an older sister named Bridget Theresa Healy who married a man named Thomas S. Dwyer in Quintana, Texas in 1854 and they moved to Brenham, Texas. Any information about any of these Healys and about the related Brodericks of Lake Charles will be greatly appreciated. All of these Healys lived in New Orleans in the 1840s but left prior to the war in 1860. Richard B. Daniel Salem, OR rbd00001@aol.com
