Specifically, I'm interested in a James Verdine--an African-American--born around 1906 or 1907 who married a woman by the name of Rosie Ryan. They resided in Calcasieu Parish, LA (either Lake Charles or Westlake) and had family also living in Orange, TX. James was the father of 9 or 10 children with his youngest child named Rose Mary. Whether or not James is related to Luther, I can't say but I would welcome any information regarding him and/or his spouse Rosie Ryan.
