I'm looking for info regarding my gm. her name was Johnnie LaVerne Brown. Her mother's name was Elizabeth ?. We're not positive of her father's name but we're thinking Virgle (or Virgil). She had 5 or 6 step and half relatives. Her parents had been married a few times before each other. Her mother died 2 days after her birth and father died abt 5 mos. later. She was born May 11, 1922. She was sent to live with an older step or half sister named Maudie in Tyler, TX. Maudie had 5 kids of her own already so she sent JLB to orphanage in Waco. Please help!!
