I have some information that may help you with the Placide Labauve mystery that you mentioned. Placide Labauve and Annette Thibodeaux were my g-g-g grandparents. The Placide you mentioned as being married to Nancy Griffin is actually Emile Labove, son of Placide & Annette. The Placide married to Nathalie Broussard mentioned is also son of Placide & Annette.
