Her parents are who I'm looking for..Elizabeth (don't know maiden) and Virgil (or Virgle) Brown. Elizabeth died a couple days after Johnnie's birth and Virgil abt 5 mos later. Johnnie was sent to live with half or step sister Maudie in Tyler, TX. Maudie sent her to orphanage in Waco. We have almost no info. on any of this side of family.
