She was sent to a sister (step or half) in Tyler, TX. Sister, Maudie, already had 5 kids so sent Johnnie to orphanage in Waco, TX. Then Johnnie ran off and married barber's son from there in about 1935 or so. Johnnie was born Johnnie LaVerne Brown. Even if you could find the slightest bit I could get a birth certificate or something. Thanks a bunch. Charity Smithson
