Schexnider, of Iowa, La. All I have been able to find out is that the father of Ivy died in a fire or by electircution in a bakery fire. I have been told his father may have been Robert Schexnider (not sure how he spelled it) and that his Mother was Elise Champagne, daughter of Lucas Champagne and Elizabeth (need maiden name). If you can verify any information about these people, please help me, I am a granddaughter to Ivy.     3. While searching the Social Security death index, I noticed where a Archie Berry Meeks died in DeQuincy in 1993. Archie was my 1st cousin that I never met, he and my Mom were the same age and the Meeks family went in all direction at about the same time. I would very much like to contact any of Archie's children or anyone with knowledge of the Meeks family in your parish. Any help greatly appreciated. The two largest are the Big Woods Cemetary in Edgerly and the Nibletts Bluff Cemetary near the Sabine River. I am approximately 6 miles from both of them. The Reed Cemetary is another place near Vinton. If I find anything, I will let you know.

I have recently visited the cemetary which they are buried. its bilbo cemetery next to an casino. parking lot. Now it has a statue of Jesus looking down on the graves.
