My mother was a Buxton and there are Doyle's on both sides of her family. Of Matthew Doyle's children, listed is a Lucinda, does anyone happen to know if she married a Sherrod "Shirley" Buxton? If so she would be my ggrandmother. I have been seeking info on her for years. I would appreciate any light anyone might be able to shed on my search. I am also searching for a Wealthy Doyle who father was either a James or John Doyle and her mother was Elizabeth Buxton. She too was my ggrandmother. Please e-mail me at d_blaisdell@yahoo.com with any information. Thank you. Donna

A newspaper article of the time, indicated that James and Aaron Johnson were sent to a penitentiary for life, but nothing was said about what happened to "Tine" and Salvan. I would like to learn the disposition of the case against them. I am also interested in anything about these brothers and their families, expecially who their parents were and if they had other siblings. If anyone out there has any information on this line of the Buxton's, please e-mail me at d_blaisdell@yahoo.com. Thank you for your help. Donna

All we have about him is that his name is John Jamison and he was from Louisiana. Her mother's name was Cynthia M. Allen of Houston, TX. We do know that her mother was killed by her father 26 years ago in Los Angeles when my friend was only 2 years old. Her mother worked for the Loa Angeles department of Power and Water and was killed at her job. Attached is a photo of her mother and father in happier times. The are the couple on the bottom right corner. If anyone can shed any information on where John Jamison is today and how he can be contacted, please contact us. My friend wants to let her father know that she has no hatred for him for what he did. He is the only immediate family she has besides her own children.

My Grandmother was related to the Corbello's in Beaumont and Orange areas,I have a copy of the original land grant in the "Orangefield area" where they revieved 13,800 acres of property that was later developed into the Orange Oilfield.Consequently they lost it all to crooked oil companies and finantial manipulators. My Grandmother was also related to the Duhons,Vinables, and Grangers, who lost property in the theft of oilfield property, it was all done through illegal signatures(by a marked X, these people were mostly illiterate) and lost their property by not knowing what to do or not to do, sorry about the long dialog, but that's the way it is, thanks for your effort, will send you some info asap....Billy W.
