F. Todd Smith, in his book The Cadddo Indians Tribes at the convergence of Empires, 1542-1854 contains a map on page 105 entitled "Tribal Locations & Treaty of 1835". This map shows the Choctaws on land ceded in treaty in the Lafayette County and Miller County areas of Arkansas. Since the county boundary lines changed at least twice between these two counties you will have to check your dates and locations to see which county those reservations were in. Sulphur Fork was a European Settlement in 1818 call Sulphur Fork Agency. At the Sulphur Fork Agency the Sulphur River and Little River came together as one. The Sulphur River runs from North East Texas into Arkansas where it joins with Little River and later runs into the Red River in Louisiana. Hope this helps. Kathy Roberson Hart
