Bettye, This probably doesn't mean anything, but, I have a Mary A. Smith that was married to Archibald T. Munroe in Jan 18, 1849. They lived in Talladega Ct. Ala and moved to almost the Ruston area, in Vernon. (It is almost unoccupied now) He died in the War between the States and she moved to Marshall TX. Sometime after that she moved to Shreveport, La with her 4 girls. They each married a Hull, Wilson, Caperton, and Beardsley between 1874 and 1896. Poor Mary died in the Yellow fever epedimic in 1873. Plain Dealing is just up the road from Shreveport about 30 minutes North....
