In the 1900 census in St. Mary Parish, Angeline, age 80, stated that only two of her eight children were living, both with her. Atchison died as a teenager in Shreveport. Giles, the son, survived the Civil War to die as a young man in a "friendly scuffle". Hypagia, shown in the 1850 census as a one year old, can not be located again. Horace lived to be 66 and was listed in census records as an idiot. Angeline's grandson Welck Como was in Shreveport in 1908. Haven't been able to trace the Rankin grandchildren Nettie, Robert G., Percy and Kate.
