His name is Daggert Leon Carter born 10-6-1922. I believe he was born in or around Shreveport. His parents were Florence Belle Goff or may be Belle Florence Goff and Clarence Martin Carter but he may be listed as Clarence, Martin, or his birth name was Mordecai - (Grandpa was always going by a different name) My uncle is in poor health and I would love to be able to give him his birth certificate before he passes on. In 1920 census they was in Caddo Parish, and grandpa worked in the glass factory. They was poor my aunt (my uncle's sister) I show her being born in Cedar Groove on 9-26-1925 then by 1928 they was in Delaware Co., IN. My other uncle was born 2-22-1920 also in shreveport. Please if any one at least can tell me book # and page # of each of these birth certificate I would greatly appreciate it. There might be two other children possible born in LA, but they was either stillborn or died shortly after birth. I am sure that their isn't any tombstone due to my grandparents being poor.
