Bill: Hi there! I need to start working on all of them if I don't find a connection to my Mary Drake! Our earliest Pockrus are last found in Edgefield District SC and Grandpa Reuben Pockrus's death certificate states his father was John Pockrus and mother was Mary Drake. If anyone knows more about this Drake family please let me know as well as it took me 38 plus years to find Reuben and I don't have that much time to find Mary Drake. Both of them were born AL and Reuben born in LA. My suspicion would be Reuben Drake's family. Now for a question! Were the Drakes of Indian ancestry? We cannot prove that the Pockrus were Indian but the family story suggests Indian Ancestry.
