Charlotte Sehon My great grandfather Erastus Edwards should be in Caddo Parrish ,lived in Shreveport. He lived 1885-1938 married Ella Davis Thomas[her second marriage]. His father Erastus Edwards Sr. died there in Caddo 1899.note Erastus sr. birth not known for sure supposely immigrant.Edwards II ,all his papers say Edwards but his father may have changed his last name. Anthony, I found a E.N/E.M. Edwards that died Dec 23, 1899, page 120 Certificate 538 listed in the bookShreveport Civil Death Records Volume I, 1874 -1902 writtten by Judy Riffel. Make sure that you mention where you found the info or else they won't be able to make a copy for you. You can write to the Louisiana Archives to get a copy.... Louisiana State Archives P.O.
