Many other of our Joseys came from there, so I am not sure how many might be buried in Caddo. Thanks so much. Mary Ann Stokeley m 29 June 1879 3. Cyrena Elizabeth Austin m 18 Feb 1900 in Caddo Parish (no death date given) 4. Emma (Brown) Whisenhunt (no marriage date given), buried 1931 in Munnerlyn Chapel, near Mira, LA Lyman Lewis Jackson's last 3 children, Ida Lee, Lottie Pearl and Ziba Aaron were born after the 1900 marriage to Cyrena Elizabeth. But I cannot determine for sure if these children were Cyrena's or Emma's. The children were born 1902, 1904 and 1908.

    3. Gowan Sanitorium was a TB treatment center in Shreveport where people cane and stayed for long periods of time when their disease was active. I don't know whether there was ever any connectin with Oschner's which is in New Orleans. The location was at Line Avenue and (I think) Tree Lane, just South of Hollywood/Pierremont.     2. Hello Everyone: Is there anyone out there who could do a lookup for a Nettie Crudept (per the 1880 Caddo Parish, LA Census) married to a Weightman. We are trying to get a handle on the correct maiden name for this family, since we have three different spellings for it. The marriage would have taken place sometime before 1880, because Nettie is listed in the 1880 household as a widow in the household with her Mother, Sousan Crudept?? on the spelling.
