J. C. Thompson was my step-grandfather. He's buried in that cemetary of East Kings Highway western part of Shreveport. Don't know where he was from, but the was a member of the American Legion and 40 & 8 at Cross Lake, and originated "Tommy's train". Clyde F. There is a Joseph Buchanan Thompson that is buried at Mooringsport. He died about 1883. He was definitely a relative of mine. One of his sons was Joseph C. Thompson, born June 04, 1846. Would that be the step father you are referring to. If so, then we have some talking to do. Ronald O. Thompson

Clyde, I am assuming that your looking for Alex A. Whitlock.... do you know where he was born? Do you have an approxmiate death date or birth date? Give me some sort of clue where he might have been? Do you subscribe to Ancestry.com? If not I can try to look for you there. The cemetery that you mention is most likely Forest Park Cemetery.
