    1. [LACADDO] Bossier Parish marriage records
    2. Elaine Nagel
    3. Bossier Parish court house is very close to a lot of these little towns. It is about a 20 minute drive from the Caddo Parish Court house in Shreveport. So it is very likely that many people drove there instead of the Caddo Court house. The Bossier Court house is located in Benton Louisiana. If you pull up a map you can see how close it is btween Benton and Shreveport. ----- Original Message ----- From: <RhondaG123@aol.com> To: <LACADDO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 26, 2004 12:18 PM Subject: Re: [LACADDO] Marriage Records > You might want to check Bossier Parish, also. 2. You might want to check Bossier Parish, also. I have relatives from the Oil City/Mooringsport area and I found many of their marriage licenses were taken out in Bossier Parish instead of Caddo... no idea why. If nothing is there, you might try Marshal, TX. I know a lot of Louisiana people got their marriage licenses in Texas because there was no "waiting" period. Hope this helps.
