Jewella Cemetery is on Greenwood Rd. (Hwy 80) on the north side, approximately 1/2 mile west of Jewella Rd. It is near the former Jewella School. It is very small. Ron
Jewella road runs from Crosslake Drive to Mansfield Road. It crosses hwyg 80 (Greenwood Road) and makes some turns and twists. I don't recall a cemetery on it but there may be one. I lived on Lisa Lane, one block off Greenwood Road and Jewella and went to Fairpark HS and Centenary College. This is located off I-20 between the Pines Rd exit (#10) and the Bert Koons (Industrial Loop, #8 or 9?). It has a beautiful old iron gate and fence at the entrance and states the name and year on the top of the gate. Good luck finding Mrs Green Dockery! Carol

I'm working on my sister-in-law's great-grandparents: James Bostwick OLDS (1860-1948) married Julia Florence ROBERTS (1871-1947); six known children. James Goodfellow KELLY (1878-?) married Flossie COLE (1881-?); seven known children. Both families lived in/near Hosston. On the 1920 census James Kelly is listed as a merchant; James Olds was the next household. Are these families familiar to anyone? Can someone sugges which ED to search in the 1910 census for Hosston? Thanks. ===== Marsha L. Ensminger searching for Westerhold/t/z in the US and ? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo. http://search.yahoo.com

If you email the Shreve Memorial Library, sepcial collections, Pat Fergurson and request a search giving her the dates and names pferguson@shreve-lib.org or call 318-226-5888 She told me that for the search it is no charge and if she finds it and make a copy it is $1.00 That sounds cheap enough to me.... Good luck with you search. You might try Noel Memorial Library in Shreveport. Libraries usually have that information or the Shreveport Times Newspaper.
