A cousin and I recently created a website called Sutton Place. It documents all the known descendants of Thomas Sutton, who lived in Jefferson Co., MS in 1835. He owned a sawmill and gristmill. His descendants migrated to various parishes in north LA, including Bienville Parish. These descendants include the Sutton's of Bear Creek, LA, who are descendants of Thomas' son, John.
