Be sure and go to the original document after information has been located on the computer (or many other places for that matter). Our volunteers work extremely hard to give us accurate information but it is not always absolute. EXAMPLE: I have looked for a long time to try and find the first husband of my grandmother Jordan. Well, I found their marriage on the net last week. Married in Union County AR in 1895. WAS I THRILLED? YOU BET!!!! Called the county clerk of Union County on Monday morning and gave her the book and page, asked for a copy, and was I ever surprised to learn that the license was not issued. Yes, that's correct. Received copy in the mail today and it appears they were unable to obtain the license because of her age. (That is where the handwritten information stopped). She would have been 13 at the time. Did not mean to be so mouthy but just wanted to stress accuracy in your research. Good luck, Doris
