Thanks to everyone for all of the praise, but you all have something to contribute....if you're working on Bienville families you have copied deeds, bible records, family stories, lots of goodies that the page can use! Markie is faster than a speeding bullet at getting it up on the web site, so if you'll just get it to her, we'll put it out there for you. If you have pictures and don't have a scanner, see if you can get someone to scan them and get them to us. Newspaper articles on the pioneer days, pictures of the small towns "back when", obits that were tucked away in grandma's bible etc. It's all helpful and all interesting. Something that I particularly like myself are pictures of the old cemeteries. When I visit one I always like to back off a little and get a picture of the whole cemetery to keep with the pictures of my family's markers. Have you taken any of Bienville cemeteries?
