I am a direct descendant of Robert Jemison Kirkham and Mary Caroline Allison, both buried in Ebonezzar Cemetery in Bienville,LA. In my family tree I have her parents as William S. Allison & Mary A.M. Allison(both also buried at Ebonezzar). Other Kirkham family trees have her parents listed as George W. Allison and Temperance Welch. There are three George Allison's buried at Ebonezzar, but no Temperance of any last name. Is there someone out there who can help me clear this up as to who is actually Mary Caroline Allison's parents and where this Temperance comes in & out. My is my maternal line, and also includes POLAND & GRIGG, all from Bienville ,LA. Any & all help appreciated. Also any "cuz" welcome to share family tree info. Thanks, Mary E.K.
