They lived in Bienville Parish, LA. I am looking for a copy of a portrait of Amander that was mentioned in old family papers. On a recent trip through east Texas and Louisiana, we tried to find the old home of James Philip Koonce (1822-1902) but were not successful. Do you know if it still exists? Appreciate any help. B.
